Accessibility Statement
Accessibility of this website/application
Universal Music International BV (“Universal Music”) strives to make its website accessible in accordance with local laws implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).
This digital accessibility statement applies to the websites and/or applications of Universal Music.
When was the accessibility statement drawn up?
This statement was prepared or revised on 01.06.2025.
How accessible is the offer?
The benchmark for assessing accessibility is the success criteria of the international standard WCAG 2.1 and the European standard EN 301 549 version 3.2.1.
Which areas are not accessible?
Compliance assessment is based on the test results from June 1, 2025. Our websites and applications are tested as extensively as possible, including the success criteria of WCAG 2.1. As part of the assessment, the following areas were identified as not fully accessible:
- Text alternatives for images, non-text content, or time-based media
- Some color contrast levels may be below recommended levels
- Components, status messages, information, structure, relationships, reading order, link destination, or input destination cannot always be determined programmatically.
- Text or content cannot always be enlarged or reduced to 200% without disrupting functionality, or presented in two dimensions without scrolling
- Some hover or focus states may not be implemented yet
- We are still working on making our products 100% keyboard and single pointer compatible, and there may be parts that require standard methods to release focus
- Some time limits and motion content may not be adjustable
- Diversion blocks may not always be available
- Options for locating multiple web pages may not be available
- Descriptions of headings and labels may need to be improved or simplified
- Motion activation and drag gestures may not have alternatives
- Previously entered information may not be filled in automatically.
In some cases, audio description options can disrupt the experience of our products, so they are not always included.
This declaration was prepared on 1.6.2025 based on a previous assessment in accordance with the requirements of the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 (V. 3.2.1).
