30th anniversary 2LP edition of Dr. Dre's solo debut 'The Chronic'.
The rapper, producer and label boss made his debut with this album in December of 1992, after he had previously left the group NWA and founded his own label Death Row. The album was seen as groundbreaking in the genre due to the characteristic G-funk sound at the time. It also produced the timeless hip-hop classic and world hit 'Nuthin' but a 'G-Thang', on which he introduced his new protégé Snoop Doggy Dogg at the time. For many, the album was also the first introduction to Warren G, Nate Dogg and Kurupt, who in the years that followed under the watchful eye of Dr. Dre all became very successful.
